Dan McArdle featured in new documentary video

We are happy to welcome Helena Montana woodcarver, Dan McArdle, to our roster of artists at 1+1=1 Gallery. He is part of our current two-artist exhibit titled “Forest Stream Prairie.”

This is Dan’s very first gallery exhibit and his artwork has sold extremely well. There are only two of his large carvings and a handful of his Pacific Big Leaf Maple panels remaining. If you haven’t been in to the gallery to see Forest Stream Prairie yet, you still have time. The show comes down on Monday, November 14th to make room for our Annual Small Works holiday show. Please stop by anytime during gallery hours (Tuesday through Saturday 10 to 6) or check out the online catalog here.

Helena Civic Television has a regular program created by Jeanie McLean Warden, which is all about local artists. She creates documentary-style videos of one artist at a time. We love this one about Dan McArdle. He speaks so eloquently about his background, philosophy and wood carving process. Worth watching for sure.
