Our popular Girls Art Nights ran for a year and a half on the third Thursday evening of each month. The sessions always filled up and turned out to be lots of fun for everyone. Women in our monthly classes have an inexpensive opportunity to make creative art projects, learn to trust their inner artist voices, play with each other, enjoy great potluck finger food, beverages and all the art supplies they needed to complete an artwork or two or three in a few hours.

We decided to try Sunday afternoons this year for the adult women’s art classes, so beginning in April 2016, we’ll continue with these fabulous sessions on the third Sunday of each month. Sign up to get email notifications at the beginning of each month about our Art Sessions. The classes fill up, so register early! We’ll send you an email if you need to bring anything special to the class (supplies are included in the class fee.)

We know everybody is busy, there are travel plans, spontaneous days doing other things … no pressure to sign up for all sessions! You can sign up for one class, or any number you wish. I only have space for 6 to 8 women (depending on the project), so even if you can’t come sometimes, that makes room for someone new. 🙂

Topics this spring and summer will include printmaking (collagraphs, linocuts, relief printing, and stamp-making;) acrylic glazing and painting on canvas and wood panel; mixed-media collage; artist-books; abstract-painting-to-music and three-dimensional forms with paperclay!

    • I think I need to make the first Sunday afternoon Art Sesh February 28th instead of the 21st. I had forgotten (how could I?) that we have a concert at the gallery on the 21st and that means lots of moving of pedestals, artwork, chairs, and getting everything ready in the afternoon. I’ll let you know, Judy. I have your phone number.
