In a small group of women, over two Sundays, we’ll explore several illustrative techniques for working with our dreams. This is not a therapy group, rather an opportunity for artists and creative women to use one or more personal dreams as a launch pad for artistic expression and exploration of themes from our unconscious. We’ll use assemblage, sculptural construction and mixed-media methods to create one or more pieces over the two day workshop. Cost includes most supplies. Participants are welcome to bring special materials from home.

Day 1: presentation and conversation about the value of making art around dreams both current and past, and ways to remember more of your dreams. Gather your materials and begin a sculptural mixed-media assemblage.

Day 2: conversation over coffee, tea and breakfast recalling last week’s beginnings and interim thoughts. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves and dive into construction and completion of our mixed-media pieces.
