Adult 2022 Workshop Series

We Offer Unique, Creative Classes and Workshops for Adults

During the exceptionally weird years and the ups and downs of 2020 and 2021 we put our adult workshops on the back burner because we wanted to keep our staff and customers safe from Covid-19. We hope 2022 is different in that we will be able to meet in person for half day or weeklong workshops in our lovely 1+1=1 Classroom in the back of the art gallery!

Subscribe to our Love Notes to be notified by email when the workshop registration links go live. Thank you!

Altered Tins with the Red Queen: A half-day workshop taught by Judy Kline, April 30th, $50 limited to 8 participants

This workshop is just a damn fun, playful gathering of creatives who want to laugh and learn together. Judy Kline has been making altered tins (and altered-lots-of-other-stuff) for many years. And. She loves to share her stuff and knowledge with everyone. The synergy of a group of folks getting together to make art just can’t be beat! Come play and learn with Judy for a day of fun. Convert a mint tin box into a little art
vignette with mixed media. We’ll use paper, fabric, trims, fibers, three dimensional elements and your imagination to transform Altoid tins into works of art. Bring your tins and stuff from your stash. If it will fit in your tin, it’s fair game. I will have some tins and papers, photos, and other inspirations available. These creations make great gifts and keepsakes. A few examples below by Judy Kline.

Register in advance to receive a bag of fun things from Judy, to help light your creative fire. When you sign up for the class, we will send you a supply list of things to bring to the class. Cost includes basic supplies and tools, though Judy will send registrants suggestions for special things you might want to bring from home. Fun fun fun!
