1+1=1 Gallery > Exhibits > POLLINATE Opens Oct 2, 2021

Pollinate, Oct 7 – Nov 6, 2021

POLLINATE features stunning figurative sculptures by Sandi Bransford of Seattle, Washington and very large constructed photographs by Bonnie Lambert, of Helena, Montana. Pollinate is about our humanity, the beauty of transience, impermanence and aging, ceremony, aging, melancholy, self-image, and about our surroundings — our environment — both natural and human-made.

We invite you to view these fabulous new works at 1+1=1 through November, 2021. Pop in to meet the artists at our Open House on October 2 from 10am to 4pm. Explore their powerful artwork and their unique expressions while they are here in town, to answer your questions!

Bonnie and Sandi will give an informal gallery talk from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, Oct. 2nd. We truly hope you can come. We ask that everyone wear a mask, and we will limit the number of folks inside the gallery during the talks, so we can all be safe. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Sandi Bransford, Seattle Washington

We are delighted to introduce our community to Sandi Bransford, whom we have been “watching” for the last two years! We are honored that she has agreed not only to show at 1+1=1 Gallery, but to attend the opening day so our local supporters and clients can meet her and find out who she is!

Bonnie Lambert, artist

Bonnie Lambert has been showing at 1+1=1 Gallery since our early days, when we mounted our first of many BODY exhibits. We carry her incredibly unique art jewelry year-round. She has also shown her constructed photos in an invitational exhibit at 1+1=1 as well as at the Holter Museum of Art and the former Turman Larison Contemporary. She generously gives us countless hours in her down-to-earth style as a volunteer, and oh boy! We really do appreciate her.

Curious what she means when she says, constructed photograph?” Come find out directly from the artist at our Open House, or watch for a blog post from Maureen about that topic!
