We are Re-Opening with a Fabulous Exhibit of Student Art

1+1=1 Gallery is closed until April 3rd to prepare for our first exhibit of the year. Young Voices 2020 is an exhibit of student artwork and a fundraiser for two Helena non-profits chosen by the students themselves.

Maureen’s art students range in age from 10-17. They have been working hard for over 8 months on this exhibit. Part of the preparations the students make are the following: helping to set up the exhibit; curating, titling, signing, and framing their artwork; writing and practicing artist talks; and helping to plan the opening night. This year there will be a silent auction of 8 artworks, one by each student. We are excited to introduce this new element of fundraising to our gallery regulars.

Details: Young Voices 2020 opens Friday, April 3rd from 5-8pm. The reception includes beverages and delicious appetizers. Silent auction will go from 5-7:30pm. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to support young artists and some very deserving local organizations! Besides, you won’t believe the prices on these gorgeous works of art.
