Young Voices 2022 is In the News!
Our Young Voices exhibit is in the news!
Saturday April 9th was the day we closed our 7th Annual student art exhibit and fundraiser, Young Voices 2022. KVTH reporter,Jaurdyn Johnson, produced a sweet news clip about the artists’ and gallery’s donation to CARE. Thank you, Jaurdyn, and KTVH.
We also want to thank ALL of our community members near and far, who supported these 25 art students in raising $6000 for their cause. In the weeks before the show opened, the kids chose CARE’s Ukraine Crisis Fund through a (challenging) consensus process on an all-student Zoom.
Our young artists are so proud to have been able to raise these funds for a cause they all believe in — and so are we! We are super proud of everything these kids ages 6 – 12 have accomplished in the last year through this exhibit and their art classes at 1+1=1 Gallery.

Admire the students’ artworks, read some of their artist statements and see their smiling faces by clicking through to one of the groups (by day of the week.) The Young Voices art catalog will remain live until the end of April.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much for your interest, participation and purchases. It is only because of the generosity of our customers and friends that we can send such a large donation to aid women, children and the elderly who have been displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.
Save the date
